haha so i should get into the habit of blogging again, but its damn tiresome to blog leh. but nvm i'll find the time and effort to do it. haha, so i went for a dinner at the marine parade cc.. it was a dinner to welcome all new grassroots leaders under the umbrella of marine parade. and well, the guest of honour was Senior Minister... haha so i went there well, pretty on time lar, for once, but it was still quite empty, so i ended up playing bubble puzzle on my handphone. hahaha. so then more ppl came and soon i started talking to ppl... some of which i knew for a very long time, since i was a little boy, and some i just met at the place itself, so ya, just talk talk lor, haha. got to know quite a few people and i could quite tell their characters alr.. haha no comments on that lar, so then my friend lynn asked me to sit on another table together with my friend jing peng so we wont get so bored lar, so yar, sit there. then i had to start introducing myself again and like talk all over again, but it was quite fun lar. haha, then SM came and went around shaking people's hands, and talking to them, then he came to me but i think he didnt recognise me so nvm, haha, i didnt expect him to anyway. so then i came to realise that there was this guy who knew my family for quite a long time alr, so that created more conversation lar, hahaha, i feel bad now leaving my friend in the dark, but nvm, im sure he'll get to know ppl too. then it was SM's turn to give a speech. i really admire him, cos he didnt have any script what so ever and he could just talk, and not only talk crap, but talk things that actually makes me think, and its really quite in depth lar. so i really admire him for that, haha, no wonder his the senior minister of singapore. well then there was dinner, it was buffet and it was quite good lar. actually, this kind of dinners, its not about the food, but getting to know ppl and kinda like 'haolianing' of what u do and stuff like that. lol. so yar, then....i'll skip quite a chunk of things lar cos its quite, how to say, not really impt... then the current chairman of welfare came up and gave a speech and then he mentioned that his happy that his good friend's grandson had joined the youth and is on the youth executive committee...(which is me lar) haha, but not many ppl realised. but nvm, i dont like haolianing, and its not really a big deal anyway.. then he mentioned again about how my family wrote the marine parade song and he was particular interested in the bonding of ppl and forging of friendships lar, then he pointed at me again, then i think SM realised who i was. hahaha. and no im not some lao da... hahaha, so then, after all those.... the MC opened the karaoke to the floor, allowing anyone to join lar, then, Dr Chua, chairman of (issit CCC OR CDC) i cant rmb, i think its CCC... yar, he came to my table asked me and my friend to sing, but my table all go and point me to sing, so i had no choice but to go and see what song they have lor. hahaha, then he didnt even like go away lar, he actually stood by me and waited for me to choose the song lor. haha, so i look look look and then, i saw you raise me up. hahaha okay, good, then when i was walking back with Dr Chua, then SM called me and asked if i was singing, then i was like eh yar i am, haha, then he asked what song, then i say u raise me up. then he was like, oh thats a very nice song, im sure u will sing well. then i was like, eerr okay thank u. haha then i went back to sit. then i became damn damn scared and nervous. like omg! then i started freaking out. hahahaha, then SM called me again, WAH! so i slowly slowly walk to his table then he asked, if i put my name down, then i was like yea i did, haha, then he suddenly stood up and went to where the the the, all the equipment there lar, where the KJ is at, then he asked if my name is there, and they were like yea yea it is. then actually it was this guy's turn, but SM said nvm let the young guy go sing first. then i was like OMG!!!! i was soo soo sooo freaking out lar. seriously, then i was like, ohhkay.. .im gonna die... then i sing lor. haha, the starting i think i screwed up here and there cos i was damn scared. but slowly, i just kept telling myself, just sing per normal just sing per normal. haha then yar, i kinda eased up. so then yar, haha, A LITTLE BIT more relaxed lor.. then when i was walking back after the song, SM turned around and shook my hand and say well done. WAH, it was really an honour man. then Dr Chua went to go sing a song, then i sat on his chair, which was next to SM, haha, and i sat there till the end. so it was really great to sit next to him and also talk to him, he talked to me like friend friend. after awhile i not scared alr lar. lol. then he asked where i was studying, what i was doing. and really, he told me things FROM SENIOR MINISTER POINT OF VIEW LEH!!! he was actually giving me career advice! SENIOR MINISTER OF SINGAPORE GIVING THIS CLOWN CAREER ADVICE!! WOAHHHHH!! hahahaha.. i was thinking to myself, today is sure my lucky day man, lol! then, he asked me to sing another song, i was like 0.0, u gotta be joking, then he insisted lar. so okay, fair enough, then my fren also, she wanted to sing, so i say i go support her lar, so in the end we/i chose Hero by Enrique Iglasias? im not sure of the spelling, but yea, so i sing sing sing, then haha, yar lor. like that, then i took a foto with him... then random ppl came and tell me that i sang well, haha, i bet they are some big shots, but i dunno hu they are. so yea... tat was my saturday night.. lol...
tmr i got schoool! NOO.. well, i'll blog about school maybe tmr or the day after... heh.
